Century Cakes is an upscale cakery catering to a wealthy demographic of all ages. They are known for creating unique desserts so delicious that patrons are willing to be waitlisted for months at a time.

I attempted to give the mark a modern and luxurious feel by utilizing simple geometric forms to create a cake platter and a double C for Century Cakes. The cake platter can be seen as being either 3/4 full or 3/4 empty depending on how your eyes are visualizing it at the time. This symbolizes both having enough cake for everyone, but at the same time, it being so good that it's nearly gone.

A two-color palette of black and white was utilized to give a modern and luxurious feel. A geometric sans-serif typeface was used to complement the simple geometric forms of the mark.
