Century Cakes is an upscale cakery catering to a wealthy demographic of all ages. They are known for creating unique desserts so delicious that patrons are willing to be waitlisted for months.

I attempted to give the mark a luxurious feel while representing both the word Century and the word Cake. To do this I used simple geometric forms to create a layered cake that reads as the number 100 when rotated on its side.

The logo has a simple two-color palette of black and orange meant to give a modern and luxurious feel. Orange is a combination of red and yellow, two colors said to stimulate appetite. The text utilizes the geometric sans-serif typeface Century Gothic to complement the geometry of the mark.
